I am part of the Virtual Power Plant team (VPP) and maintain frontend apps (React.js) and backend services (Node.js). I am responsible for building software integration into electrical grid systems to dynamically adjust the power based on grid’s stability, otherwise known as Frequency Demand Response or Frequency Containment Reserves, where we adjust power used by electrical vehicles to maintain overall grid’s stability during peak usage.
On the frontend side, I am responsible for visualizing all of the data, reactions to grid, in a report format to be digested by us and our customers.
Technologies Used
React.js, Node.js, Typescript, Kafka, Redis, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
I personally used Go(lang) to build a couple of testing tools internally.
