Originally job started as an integration developer, with the promise that I would have to learn Python as that is the language used on the backend. My main task was to write various integrations to third party APIs such as temperature, loudness, occupancy and collect the data to later be visualized by the Empathic Building client application.
I worked as a Full-Stack Web Dev, primarily maintaining Easy Booking system for Empathic Building. Present day-to-day tasks involve:
- Research and Development of new integrations based on customer needs.
- Research and Development of new front-end features
- Improve existing UI/UX parts.
- Optimize app client speed and build times by performing monthly npm upgrades, optimizations to a build process, removing unneeded modules from the project, etc.
- Develop and maintain Easy Booking backend & frontend
- Coach junior developers
- Server issues investigation and resolution
